Small Country Campground and The Trevilians Volunteer Fire Company are pleased to announce the 1st annual Que and Cruz on July 18th and 19th. Que and Cruz is a Virginia State Championship, KCBS style BBQ contest (Sanctioned by Mid Atlantic BBQ Association) and a Car Show on the 19th with proceeds benefitting the Trevilians Fire Company and the Small Country Children’s Christmas fund.The event will be open to the public with Sponsor vendors, live music and award winning barbeque will be availableA donation fee of $5.00 per adult will be collected at the gate for non-participants.If you have a nice ride or have good cooking skills and you think you have what it takes to win, please enter the contest.

The Trevilians Vol. Fire Dept. will be having our annual Memorial Day Boot Drive. This event is one of the major fundraising events the Fire Department does. We will have firefighters at the following locations to allow citizens to donate: Intersection Oakland Rd (613) and Louisa Rd ( Rt. 22), Louisa Rd ( Rt. 22) and South Spotswood Trail (Rt. 33), Louisa Rd. (Rt. 22) and Poindexter Rd. ( Rt. 613). Please come on out on May 24 and support your Fire Department at the locations listed. All funds raised will go towards purchasing a New Tanker so that we can effectivley protect our community and assist other departments with a better water supply vehicle.
The Trevilians Vol. Fire Dept will be having it's Semi-Annual Fish Fry on Sat. May 24, 2008 from 11:30 am til 6:30 pm at the Trevilians Vol. Firehouse located at 737 Firehouse Drive Louisa, VA (at the back gate to the Blue Ridge Shores Subdivison). Adult dinners will sell for $8.00 and will include: 2 pieces of fish, green beans, coleslaw, hush puppies and a drink.
